How I got here
I’ve been a wedding planner for over 5 years and absolutely love weddings, all forms of celebrating really! In the midst of planning my own wedding in 2025 I began thinking about my flowers. Flowers have always been something I LOVE and I knew I wanted to find a way to keep mine. I’ve always been crafty and loved creating things so I thought why not teach myself to press and preserve my own flowers. So I did! I spent several months leading up to my wedding practicing with flowers I’d bring home from Occasions by Ally events. I quickly fell in love with the process of turning something meaningful into a piece of art. My own wedding flowers turned out beautifully and perfectly showcased the love that went into such a special day. I wanted to be able to offer that same experience to others so the idea of Preserved Occasions was born. For the past year, I’ve had the privilege of preserving flowers for my Occasions by Ally brides, and now I’m so excited to open Preserved Occasions up to you!
Flowers hold emotion, they hold memories, they hold love! Whether the flowers are from a wedding, funeral, baby shower or any other special occasion in life they can be elegantly preserved for you. I am so excited to help you hold on to those feelings and turn your flowers into something beautiful you can look back on for years to come.
How It Works
Step One: Book your preservation
Reserve your spot with Preserved Occasions. Your project is secured with full payment at the time of booking. Let us know if you have any design preferences or special requests.
Step Two: Get us your flowers
After your event, get your flowers into our hands as quickly as possible.
Drop Off: Bring your bouquet to us in North Overland Park.
Pickup: We can pick up your flowers directly from your event or from you for an additional $50. (Kansas City area only)
Step Three: Pressing & design
Your flowers are carefully prepared and pressed by hand. Once your flowers are fully pressed and ready, we thoughtfully arrange them into your custom design.
Flower color and texture may change during this process.
Pick your frame color and approve your design before we finalize it.
Your finished floral design is carefully placed into your frame, creating a one-of-a-kind keepsake you can display and enjoy for years to come.
Step Four: Pick up or have us ship your artwork
Your completed piece will be ready approximately 8–12 weeks after your flowers are received. We’ll reach out when your keepsake is ready for pickup!
You can pick it up in North Overland Park or we can have it shipped to you. (Customer is responsible for shipping costs)
